There will be a major project aiming at improving the connection between Noida and Delhi, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) This ambitious project calls for building a metro line connecting Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi with the forthcoming Noida International Airport close to the Yamuna Expressway. The improvement of travel choices is especially important considering the growing commuter traffic in these places. The present Golden Route, which links Aerocity to Tughlakabad, would undergo a significant extension of around 5 kilometres to Kalindi Kunj. This extension will link to the Magenta Line at the Botanical Garden Metro Station, therefore providing a smooth passenger journey between these main centres.
